This final section shows you how to get anything you want. A step by step way to bring everything you want into your life: money, transportation, property, health, love, freedom – full abundance.

First, if you think I’ve benefited from my prayer experiences with the Father within me but you or others might not, please read the following true story of what happened to one of my best friends when I shared my prayer knowledge with him.

I first met Paul when we started junior high school. We had classes together and regularly helped each other with our general science projects. Our friendship continued through high school. During this period we often went fishing, camping, and hiking together.

“This final section shows you how to get anything you want.”

Paul and I had the same love and respect for animals. Both of our backyards held pens of rabbits, guinea pigs, chipmunks, pigeons and in my yard a small kennel for my eight dogs. (If you love animals, then you understand why most of the money we made doing odd jobs went to feed our pets. If you do not love animals, well – never mind.)

After high school, Paul went into the navy, I went into the marines. When the war over we both went back to college. It is after our education period that this story begins.

One day Paul called and asked me to go to Lake Texhoma for an all-night fishing trip because record catches were being reported. I agreed.

We trolled from early evening until past midnight. Paul wanted to begin trolling again at first light. We pulled the boat onto the beach of one of the many small sand islands that dot Lake Texhoma to get a couple of hours sleep before dawn.

Paul couldn’t sleep. He wanted to talk. His depressing story was painful to hear. He said all his life his only goal was studying to go to medical school. This same goal was shared by a group of his friends who majored in sciences in high school and college.

Paul said his application had been turned down by four medical schools. He felt no better, knowing none of his friends had been accepted either. Millions of ex-servicemen were finishing college at the same time and medical schools were swamped with applications. Paul was depressed and told me he felt as if his life were over because he did not want to do anything other than to be a doctor.

As I listened to his story, I shared his disappointment and agreed it was unfortunate. More than this, I thought of the type of person I knew Paul to be. He always had a smile and an encouraging word for everyone. He truly believed gossip to be sin and I never heard him say a bad word about any of us.

Paul couldn’t say no when asked to help. If Paul had any fault, it was always being the last one to finish any exam. While his grades were in the upper 10% of our classes, it took him the longest to complete the tests.

In short, Paul was one of the best people I knew.

As he finished his story, he asked, “Why is God punishing me by having me rejected from one medical school after another?”

That did it. In effect here is what I told him. “God is not punishing you, Paul. You and I never discuss religion. You are Catholic. I am Protestant. Even so, men seldom talk about religion. We usually leave that to the women. Right or wrong, that is the way things are done in Texas. In spite of this, maybe I can help you by telling you my most private secret about my relationship with God. But I want your promise you will not tell any of our friends what I’m about to tell you. I’d rather not talk about this but I know you are hurting and you are my friend.”

Then on that small Lake Texhoma island in the early morning hours, I told Paul much of what you have read in Asking And Getting What You Want as I understood it to that time. I didn’t want to confide in him but I felt God was directing me to share with Paul.

As I slowly told him what you’ve read, he kept saying things like, “Yes. Yes. Sure. Of course. That’s right. I agree.” When I finished, he said, “Why wasn’t I told this before? You know my family and I go to church every Sunday. I have taken special religious instruction and never anyone tell me about having my direct prayers answered as you have explained.

“I am going to follow your way, Tom. I love God. I believe He loves me. Of course, He does! I feel it now as never before. I’m going to God in prayer just as you do. Just as if He were my best friend. Now I am sure He is!”

It was about two months later when Paul came by waving a letter for me to read. It was his acceptance to medical school. I’ve never seen a happier person.

“… when you think God has answered your prayers, it may be only the beginning.”

This is not all of Paul’s story. Remember, I told you when you think God has answered your prayers, it may be only the beginning? So it is with Paul.

He said soon after he went to God in prayer, the same way you’ve read in Asking and Getting What You Want, he got a call from the medical school administrations committee asking him to report for an interview. At the interview, the chief asked Paul why he wanted to get a medical education.

Paul said the question was so obvious it stumped him for a few seconds. Then his answer started pouring from his mouth. He could hear his own words but was not aware of his thoughts before speaking.

He answered the question by saying he had always wanted to be a doctor. Not for the prestige, that was the last reason. He wanted to be a doctor only to share his medical knowledge by doing his best to minister to others. He did not care how much or how little money he could make. He cared only for the service he could render.

When he finished answering the question, there was silence. Then the chief cleared his throat and said, “That is an admirable answer. Unique, but admirable. It will be a good thing to see if your philosophy can rub off on any of us.”

Paul was thanked for coming to the interview and was told the committee would let him know their decision by letter. It was the letter of acceptance Paul asked me to read.

Paul completed medical school, always the last to finish any exam, but graduating near the top of his class. During his second and fourth year, he was elected class president. After his internship, Paul’s medical practice grew. Patients would come from all over the United States and South America to be placed under his care.

“Paul’s experience proves beyond any doubt you can have the same good fortune in your life.”

In the years that followed, I did not see Paul as often as I would have liked because I spent so much time in the Orient. But on one occasion when I visited Texas, he told me he thought the most important event in his life was not his being accepted for medical school nor the honors he received. Paul said the greatest event of his life was the talk we had years ago on a sandy Lake Texahoma island in the small hours of a weekday morning.

He went on to say he thinks of his life as starting from that conversation. He said all the remarkable things that happened to him since that night were a result of his one to one relationship with God as he learned from our conversation.

Paul’s experience proves beyond any doubt that you can have the same good fortune in your life too if you will follow the advice in Asking And Getting What You Want. Advice your Father who loves you is sending to you through me. Just as He sent the advice to Paul through me.

As I have said, God’s reason for creating you and placing you here on Earth is for you to enjoy this life. God wanted me to give you the prayers to guarantee you can have all of these wonderful benefits now if you go to God in prayer and if you believe.

Now for the abundance section.

Remember how God answered my freedom prayer and delivered me from alcoholism? Then God answered my love prayer by giving me both friends and fame in Japan. This was followed by His generosity in answering my prayer for money by granting me a large financial blessing.

$1,000 a day in your home!
The financial blessing was so generous that it was soon necessary to move the growing business from my Tokyo home to Hong Kong. Once in my new Hong Kong home, the new business kept moving ahead at a fast rate. (The same business that I am going to show you how to do that brings up to $1,000 a day in your own home!)

I was pleased with the growth of the business but I wanted more time to do things other than spend all my time with the business. So I went to God again in prayer and asked him for more freedom. Soon He answered this prayer by sending a group of investors to me with a fair offer to buy the business. I accepted their offer.

I’d been reflecting on my life and my relationship with God for several years. I had a strong urge to get away from business and see if God would guide me to give the benefit of my prayer experience to others. But I did not know exactly how to share my experience with others.

I thought one way to have the privacy for contemplation would be to have a yacht which is a cruising sailboat capable of sailing anywhere in the world. I did not have the extra money for such a boat because at the time the business needed money for expansion. I took this problem to God in prayer and asked him to find a way for me to have the yacht.

It was soon after this prayer that the investors approached me to buy the business. After my interest in the business was sold, I knew God had provided the funds for the boat.

And I knew God wanted me to find a way to share my experiences with others. I knew He wanted me to write about my relationship with Him so others like you could rekindle the enthusiasm for Christianity that existed in the first centuries after Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. God wanted me to plant seeds.

Sure I would plant seeds. However, at the same time, I was working with yacht sources building the new boat God had made it possible for me to own.

After the boat was completed, I sailed away with my crew. Then we were busy going from one place to another. The problems of navigating, sailing and maintenance took all my energy. There was no time to think about my promise to God to share my precious prayer knowledge with others.

Finally, God had enough. In El Nido in the Philippines, I was hemorrhaging blood that resulted in medical help in Puerto Princessa and Hong Kong with a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Old friends flew into Hong Kong to consult privately with the Canadian doctor who confirmed to them the cancer diagnosis and the need for immediate surgery. A hurried flight to Houston and more medical help following a health prayer to God lifted the cancer diagnosis from me.

“Isn’t it about time you shared and acknowledged my gifts to you…”

It was then in gratitude to God that I knelt in prayer. And it was then that God replied to me, “Isn’t it about time you shared and acknowledged my gifts to you – admitted positive prayer as the source of your fortune? Isn’t it about time you shared?”

It was then tears of shame and humiliation coursed down my face and I agreed to plant seeds, share as I know God wanted me to do.

I told God I was not qualified to take this word to others. I asked Him to get someone else who was more trained. I was no pastor. I had no preacher training in a fine seminary.

God would have none of my excuses. God said, “Do the best you can. That’s all I ever expected you to do. I’ll guide you. Your Brother, Jesus, never went to a seminary either.”

I felt some better but not much. I went again to God and asked, “How do I get the information to people. How do I know which people to tell the good news about prayer?”

God answered, “I’ll cause the ones who I want to know the messages to have it in their hands. You write as I guide you. When the time comes to make the information available, I’ll show you how. And I’ll cause the hearts of those who are to read it to request it.”

      “Are you sure?” I asked.
“I am sure, Tom.” He replied.

And this is how Asking And Getting What You Want… positive prayer secrets finally became a reality. And why you are reading it and not your neighbor. God wants YOU to have this information.

He wants you to join me in planting seeds so all the world can know about the power of prayer. The power the early Christians knew. The power that can fill men’s hearts and solve most all the world’s problems that wars and well-meaning bureaucrats have not been able to solve.

Only God can be God. All things come from God. Dictators, presidents, bureaucrats and politicians cannot play God attempting to solve abundance problems. Only God gives. And God gives through positive prayer. The early Christians knew this. I know it. And now you know it too.

God chose you just as He chose me to help alert all the people to the true power of prayer. God wants you to plant seeds.

What do you want?
Do you want a yacht? Do you want a mobile home? A camper? A second house in the mountains? A cottage by the sea? Whatever it is you want for freedom and abundance, come to God with your request in prayer. He rewards beyond measure those who help Him to do His work by planting seeds.

“He rewards beyond measure those who help Him to do His work by planting seeds.”

Remember it was after I did public service in Japan with ESS societies and with learning aid publishers – all without one yen in payment, that God showered abundance upon me when I went to Him in prayer.

God is a giver. He never asks you to help in His work without rewarding you with plenty in the here and now. You do not have to wait until after death to get your reward. If God wanted you to wait until after death to have a good life, He never would have put you here on Earth. God created all of us to enjoy this world to the fullest.

To enjoy this world, you must share and plant seeds as you go to your Father who created you and ask for abundance. Ask and believe with all your heart. That is such a simple plan. Such a powerful, rewarding plan.

In sharing and planting seeds, you do as the farmer does. The small amount of seeds placed in the ground brings rewards of thousands to one at harvest time.

Sharing is part of abundance. Equally as important, is to go to God in prayer after the seeds are planted and ask for whatever you want – anything. If you do not ask. God does not know what you specifically want. Tell him. He listens because a part of Him is within you all the time. And as your reward, He gives abundantly.

Now for the conclusion of this section and the Abundance prayer.

Only God can give abundance. All others in political positions of power fail every time with their different ‘isms’ and schemes.

Book of James tells us in the 2nd Chapter that if you claim to have faith and you do not share, you are actually dead and alone. What a terrible way to live and yet so many do live their narrow and selfish lives this way. James goes on to say believing is not enough. Believing without sharing is dead faith, according to James. James also tells us a person’s faith is gauged by how much the person, not what the person professes to believe. Obviously, you prove your faith and ensure your reward by planting seeds.

God gives His children abundance in direct ratio to how much they share. If you want big blessings, then you share and plant seeds until you feel a sacrifice. Giving crumbs from your possessions is not sharing.

God gave His son on the cross at Calvary. Give until it hurts. God smiles and returns much more to you. Remember, I gave away cars, apartment units, and fortunes. God quickly returned much more to me. Begin now to have abundance.

I extend my hand of friendship to you. I am your brother in God. Let’s go forward together to spread the good word that God answers prayer abundantly. Let’s now plant seeds together.

Positive Abundance Prayer
Father, I come to You to ask for a blessing of abundance in my life. I thank You for the way things are now in my life because I know all things come from you.
I also know You made me and put me here on Earth to enjoy this world You created. I know it pleases You when I share and plant seeds proving my love for You.
Father, I ask You to make it possible for me to have (name the abundance blessing you want in answer to your prayer.)
I know You prove Your love for us by answering our prayers. I thank You for Your generosity.
And I know in the Book of John, dear Jesus tells us that you dwell within each of us. This gives me great joy to know I can come to You in prayer and be close to You, Father.
I do not know exactly what I am to do at this time to bring abundance into my life, Father. But I know if I turn this problem over to you, put it in Your hands, You will answer my prayer.
In the coming days, please give me an extra awareness so I will know when this abundance is being answered. And, Father, please give me many opportunities to share so I can express my deep love for You.
I love you, Father. I am Your child who needs an abundance blessing at this time. Amen.

How To Get It Faster
My grandmother used to tell us to pray with one hand and work with the other. And then see which hand got fullest the fastest.
For this religious woman, praying was not enough. And she used to tell us work alone would not always get us what we wanted.
But when we combine prayer with work – or any kind of action – our prayer would be answered faster and fuller.
Through the years, experience taught me her advice is true. Prayer combined with action works magic to get what we want.
