How Can Positive Thinking Improve Quality Of Life?

Can 'Positive Thinking' Improve My Life?     How can I improve Myself within a month with positive thinking? I don’t know. How you can improve yourself within a month. A little mind hack I came up with for myself is to recite and affirm to myself  ‘I am cheerful and chirpy’.  It works, at the time of reciting. If I continually recite this it may become a habitual state of mind. A subconscious way of being. Or I could drive myself nuts.      While reading a post by Robert Bly.         “ The headline in an email from Ragan Communications I got just now says, "Everybody wants to make a living doing what he or she loves." I used to think that was true. But as the years have passed, I've encountered some people this does not apply to. They are a minority who, for whatever reason, would prefer not to work at all -- and if they get an inheritance or other windfall that frees them from having to work, they elect never to do so again, and instead indulge thei

You are in a relationship regardless of being single, married, or separated. It is part of life.      Even at your job, you are in a type of relationship with someone, co-workers, your boss, etc.. Be it casual, platonic or business. You are in a relationship with you also.  First and foremost is the relationship You have with You.  You are the center of Your universe, the world around You.  How everyone responds or reacts to You, is about You. How others conduct themselves is about them.  Here is something to remember. Be it the way You talk or conduct Yourself.

Are You Getting Value? You Deserve.

Image
Exchange Of Value.  How Much Are You Getting?   Two questions popped into my mind years ago, and have stayed. Two questions, no order or  priority. These two questions are a way of determining your self-worth and the self-worth of others.      Of what value,  as a person , am I to others?      Why would others want to spend their time with me? I've often looked at myself, and have had to, with those two questions. As self-regulators. For myself, and viewing others. In everything, when you look at it closely, you feel good about something when there has been an exchange of value. This holds true for money. That is what money really is, an exchange of value. We buy or not depending on our perceived value of the product or service for the amount of money being asked for. We exchange our money because we believe and can justify we are getting an equal value. Now, this varies from person to person. Others may not see the same value in a quantitative measure. And are not pr

Do You Fear Commitment? Conquer It Here And Now!

7 Simple Steps  To Master Commitment   Commitment is a Scary Word. Getting over a fear can be hard. Mastering anything takes practice and courage. And  sometimes all you need is a simple method to become committed. Does it feel like being trapped, no escape?  Maybe you have been so conditioned to consider yourself by what others think of you. A catch 22 situation. Thinking things through, looking at alternatives, and the consequences. Can relieve the pain. But there is no substitute for actually getting off your butt and doing something. Otherwise... it doesn't get done, achieved, or conquered. And it is a good practice to get the advice of other people. You've got to be careful who you asked. There are many people who have gone before you, tried and did something never done before. And as many who failed at their first attempt. And tried again. Find those people, ask their advice. Eddison was considered a failure . He had tried thousands of tim

You Can Improve Your Life With Education

So... How Can You Learn More? Learn to learn more. We go to school to learn, to learn to learn more.  And now, what do you need to learn to ... "Everything is hard at first" There is truth and a lesson in that little quote. And so learning is a life process, whether we consciously go about it, or one day we realize, we learn to learn more anyway. Especially, to learn to write better. When it came to fleshing out a new site with content, I slid off the mountain... And there I sat with my nose against a wall. No success if I cannot write a simple article. I needed something, a plan, a format, and found it. You see, the first lessons with a virgin site in hand were easy. I had a trophy. Until I hit the wall. My wall being, writing articles to dress my pretty little virgin. Filling the site with quality worthy content.  And I thought I could write! Progress however painfully slow is still progress. How easy it is to march through a course witho

How To Make Today The Best Day Of Your Life You've just woken from a dream, and it can come true in your life. In this dream, a prophet spoke to you. And said, "today when you wake it will be the first day of the best of your life". You are a living creature and part of the life cycle. You are born, live for a time and then die. The two bookends of life, birth, and death. You have no control over. But, the in between, your life, you do have control over. And it is strictly up to you what you do. Okay, so there you are sitting on the edge of your bed. Thinking about what this prophet said to you. With today in front of you, and is it really the first day of your life. What are your thoughts ? Will you sit there and wait for the inevitable end. Is there one thing you absolutely want and with only one day, go for it? Really you have only had one today and another one today and another one today anyway. Tomorrow is promised to no one. And you are not
